• It helps to develop expertise in AWS cloud computing


and prepares for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect –
Associate certification

Grading - Weigths
• 50% Online labs (all labs needs to be completed)
• 50% Exam (passing limit is 50 out of 100 points)
• Capstone Project Completed with minimum of 80%
• All knowledge checks completed
• Academy Cloud Architecting Course Assessment completed
• Course attendance required but does not have effect on
grade (inactive students will be removed after the second
week)

• 50-59 -> Grade 1


• 60-69 -> Grade 2
• 70-79 -> Grade 3
• 80-89 -> Grade 4
• 90-100 -> Grade 5
Certification Exam Vouchers
• All students passing the course in AWS Academy will receive
invitation to the ETC website for voucher
• Vouchers are based on AWS Emerging Talent Community (ETC)
• Register at www.credly.com for badge using Metropolia’s email
address and select ”Claim your badge” link after completing the
course.

->Attend the lab session on Wednesdays

-> Final exam takes place online at moodle.metropolia.fi when you
attend the last Zoom session

Can I take lab multiple times?


-> You can take labs multiple times. Last result will stay in your
gradebook

How can I follow my progress?


->Gradebook is available online on the course platform

I have a valid AWS Solutions Architect certification. How can I complete


the course?
->Contact teacher via email and complete the capstone project

Can I grade my lab multiple times during the lab work?
-> You can click the grading button multiple times during the lab to
check your progress

Why do I need to shut down all resources and delete them in Capstone
Project before logging out?
-> Otherwise, the resources will stay running and consume your project
budget. You cannot continue your work if you consume all your
reserved project budget.

Can I use AI?


-> Using AI is not limited during this course
