• AXON Organizes Enterprise Data in Facets, Also called Inventories which lists different
things in use around your organization. The facet construct was created to help users
review content with some form of meaningful structure that separates different types of
assets.

• Informatica Axon has 25 facets in total that you can use to describe different aspects of
your organization and govern the data items as necessary. All facets in Axon are
interconnected

• Over Period of time you’ll create a powerful context and knowledge graph, that scales
naturally as you continue to add more content to represent an ever-increasing number of

• Data Governance is effective collection of practices and processes which help to ensure
the management of Data, Policies, Stakeholders etc. within an organization, Consume and
adopt the assets based on business evaluation and changes in compliance’s within
