Words create both confusion and humor in “Who’s on First?” when they use very strange names
that people might not understand and it can also make people laugh. For example, who was a question
name and today and tomorrow are a time name. This shows that the names create confusion it can also
create humor. In conclusion, when Costello said strange names that Abott didn’t understand Abott was
confused and when the audience were laughing it caused confusion and humor.
