MOVING UP CEREMONY EMCEE SCRIPT

Emcee 1: Completion Ceremony is always a day of rejoicing for it marks the conclusion of a four-year
educational journey and the beginning of another more uncertain and more difficult part of man’s
quest for better life and future.

Emcee 2: Today signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of
knowledge; knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges
with clear vision and purpose.

Both: Friends, welcome to the 3rd Moving Up Ceremony of Basag Integrated School with the theme
“Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa Kaagapay sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

Emcee 2: With so much cheer, Ladies & Gentlemen, the Entrance of the Candidates for Completion.

Emcee 1: Let us welcome our completers with their parents. Entering the hall are the candidates for
completion starting off with the Kindergarten, adviser Mrs. Adelyn L. Bayson.

Emcee 2: Approaching the aisle are the students from the Grade 10 – Mercury, Mrs. Lily Grace K.
Ganancial, the adviser.

Emcee 2: Let us also welcome the pillar of this institution, the Basag Integrated School faculty and staff,
alongside our honoured guests today.

Emcee 2: Members of the Kindergarten and Grade 10 Class 2025, honoured guests, PTA Board of
Directors, faculty staff, alumni and friends. Today, another history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of
the School Year 2024-2025. It’s been almost 10 months already that we have witness how these students
proved
their worth to become a member of this year’s completing batch.

Emcee 1: So to start with, we just want to greet the people who grace the affair. To our Division
Personnel. _________________________, to our distinguished and esteemed members of the academic
community led by the dynamic and supportive Teacher-In-Charge, Sir Jonathan R. Tuvillara, the ever-
active teachers of Basag Integrated School, Barangay Officials who are here with us today, members of
the PTA, colleagues, parents, guardians, visitors, friends, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant, welcoming and
joyous morning to everyone!

Emcee 2: To formally open today’s occasion, may we request everyone to please stand for the singing of
our National Anthem, the Lupang Hinirang, which then be followed by seeking a Divine Intervention
through a prayer, Regional Hymn, South Cotabato Hymn, and Tboli Hymn overture.

It’s always a pleasure to have family and friends of Basag Integrated School students visiting our campus.
Welcoming you here for today’s event is especially meaningful as we honor our completers and celebrate
their achievement. To formally welcome us all, may I call in SAARA BEATRICE K. DAWA, Academic
Excellence Awardee for her welcome address.

Emcee 1: Thank you, Bea. That was a warm welcome to our guests today. To formally open our ceremony,
may I call in Mrs. Carlyn K. Dawa, our PTA President for her opening message.

And now, the main highlight of today’s affair is about to unfold in our midst. To do the honor of
presenting this year’s candidates for completion, may we have on stage the School Head of exemplary
performance, none other than Sir. Jonathan R. Tuvillara, to be followed right away by the acceptance and
confirmation of the completers by no less than our Division Personnel Assigned, ________________.

Emcee 2: How about another round of applause to your new completers, the Batch 2025 of Basag
Integrated School? (Thank you) Dear completers, the moment you have been waiting for has finally come.
The fruit of hard work and discipline will finally be reaped. You will now be receiving your prized
Certificate of Completion,
a symbol of accomplishment. May we request ______________________, together with _______________________ to
handling out the Certificate of Completion to our completers, to be assisted by the Kindergarten and
Grade 10 Advisers. May I call in the adviser of Kindergarten.

Emcee 1: It is said that the quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to his or her commitment to
excellence regardless of the chosen field of endeavor. Ladies and gentlemen, let us recognize those
students’ ordinary things extraordinary well. Let’s move on to the awarding of Academic and
non-Academic Awards.

May we call in Ma’am Lalaine M. Caraat (JHS Academic Coordinator) and Ma’am Lily Grace K. Ganancial
(Grade 10- Adviser)to give the medals and certificate, and to assist may we call in Sir Jonathan R.
Tuvillara, Teacher-In-Charge and Mrs. Jocelyn Tuan, PTA Treasurer and Mrs. Carlyn K. Dawa, PTA
President.

Emcee 2: Again, Congratulations Dear Completers!


The best way to boost this institution’s pride of how it has molded its students, is no other than hearing it
from the direct product of this learning institution. To acquaint us let us hear an inspirational message
from our keynote speaker to be introduced by Ms. Kristine Faith S. Biboso.

Emcee 1: Thank you, Ma’am Rosabel for that meaningful and insightful speech and for that, may we
request you to be on center stage to receive the Certificate of Appreciation to be handed out by Sir.
Jonathan R. Tuvillara, Teacher-In-Charge. The certificate reads…

Emcee 2: Thank you again, Ma’am Rosabel for being with us today in sharing your success stories to our
dear completers. And now, Music is the expression of the soul. To move our emotions and feelings
through a song that emphasizes in believing in one’s self amidst challenges, let us hear the Song of
Celebration and Thanks Giving song of the completers, “__________________________” that was trained by
Mrs. Adelyn L. Bayson and Mrs. Lily Grace K. Ganancial.

Emcee 2: That was an awesome delivery of lines, action, and melody and I hope our guests think the
same. So much emotion filled today and I hope our completers will have a great success and bright future
by thanking our God and follow the advices of our teachers and parents. Again Congratulations!

Emcee 1: The Batch 2025 completers would have not reached this far, if not because of the people beside
them. The completers then wish to take this opportunity to thank their parents and guardians for their
unending support. (Hug their parents or teachers)

Emcee 2: To end this memorable occasion, may we call in our School Head Sir Jonathan R. Tuvillara, for
the Closing Remarks and some announcements.

Emcee 2: What a way to close the ceremony. Thank you, Sir Jonathan!
Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime. We’ll take the best, forget the rest, and someday we’ll find
that these are the best of times. Before we officially end, ladies and gentlemen, let us witness the Batch
2020 Completers in their Farewell Dance “_______________________”

The closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await our completers
that will further test their strength of spirit as improving individuals. As they continue with their
journey, may they look back to this stage in their life with fondness and pride. Ladies and
Gentlemen, this concludes the 3rd Moving Up Ceremony.
