My Unforgettable School Trip
Last month, my school organized a three-day trip to Yogyakarta for the 9th-grade students. It
was one of the most memorable experiences in my life.

We left school at 5 AM by bus. Everyone looked so excited. The journey took around 8 hours.
Our first destination was Prambanan Temple. The guide explained the history of the temple, and
we took many photos there. After that, we had lunch at a traditional Javanese restaurant. The
food was delicious.

In the evening, we checked into a hotel and had some rest. At night, we gathered in the hotel hall
and had a small performance night. Some of my friends sang, danced, and even performed a
short drama. It was so fun and entertaining.

The next day, we visited Malioboro Street. I bought souvenirs for my family, like batik clothes,
keychains, and snacks. Then, we went to the Keraton (the Sultan’s Palace) and learned about
Javanese culture and traditions.

On the last day, we went to Borobudur Temple. We climbed to the top and saw the sunrise. The
view was breathtaking. After lunch, we returned to Jakarta, bringing unforgettable memories
with us.

This trip not only gave us knowledge but also brought us closer as friends. I hope my school will
organize another trip like this in the future.
