Research Problem: This study aims to identify how social media marketing by online shops influences the

purchasing decisions of early adults in Barangay Bokawkan.

According to K V, S., KP, N., Kamath, G. B., & Villace, T. (2021), the rise of social media users has
prompted a new form of advertising for businesses, despite challenges like low consumer acceptability,
emphasizing the importance of identifying key elements.

1. Influencer marketing means working with popular people on social media who have many
followers. By using the trust and popularity of influencers, companies can reach their ideal
customers and advertise their products or services. Influencer marketing works well in specific
areas because influencers have created a loyal group of followers who care about certain topics
or hobbies.
2. Content marketing is about making and sharing useful and interesting information to draw in
and connect with the people you want to reach. This kind of social media marketing means
posting helpful articles, videos, charts, and other content that people will find interesting and
useful. By offering useful information, businesses can become leaders in their field and gain trust
from their followers.
3. Social media advertising means paying to promote things on different social media sites. This
kind of marketing helps businesses show their ads to the right people based on their age,
interests, and behaviors. Social media ads are great for making eye-catching campaigns,
attracting people to your website, getting more people to know your brand, and finding potential
customers.
4. User-generated content (UGC) campaigns encourage customers or followers to make and share
posts about the brand. This content can include reviews, customer feedback, pictures, and
videos that show the brand's products or services. UGC campaigns use the idea of social proof
because people are more likely to trust and connect with content made by others like them.
5. Contests and giveaways on social media can help businesses reach more people, get more
interaction, and build loyalty to their brand. By getting people to join contests, businesses can
create excitement about their brand and inspire users to make their own content. This kind of
marketing takes advantage of how quickly things can spread on social media. People usually
share contests or giveaways with their friends, which helps the brand reach more people
naturally.
