User Guide of NMMS FaceAuth App- Beta version

Logging into the system:

Step 1: Download and Install the NMMS FaceAuth Beta

version from the link provided to users.

Step 2: Download Face RD app of UIDAI from google play

store.

Step 3: Login into the system through User ID and Password

Step 4: You can view the landing page and perform the
action.

a. eKYC of workers
b. Download Musterroll
c. Capture attendance.
d. Upload attendance.

PART A: eKYC of workers

Perform the eKYC of all the workers registered in MGNREGA before providing work. To perform eKYC
the prerequisites are

a. Good Internet connection

b. NMMS FaceAuth App and FaceRD App installation in the phone
c. Login and Password of Mates /GRS,
d. Proper Light in the location where eKYC is getting perform.
e. Note: while performing the eKYC, ensure white background and no extra background apart
the workers face.

Step 1: click on the “eKYC of Worker’s”.

Step 2: Select the village name.

Step 3: Select the job card.

Step 4: Select the worker’s name whom eKYC is to be done.

Step 5: Ask worker to blink his/her eye when circle become

green. After message “Image captured successfully”, ask the
same worker to blink eye again.

Step 6: on the successful capture message, click on “Save the

details”. Incase, If error occurs, try again to perform eKYC using
step 4 and step 5.

Step 7: Green tick mark confirms that the eKYC detail was
saved successfully.

Step 8: Close the screen.

PART B: Download Musterroll

Before going to worksite, all mates must download the related musterroll.

Pre-requisite:

a. Internet connection

Step 1: Click here to download Musterroll

(at the top left of the screen, three
horizontal parallel line

Step 2: Click here to download Musterroll

Step 3: Click here to download Musterroll

Step 4: After click on download icon in step 3,

musterroll will start synchronizing.
PART C: Capture Attendance

Mates can capture the attendance of workers after only for the downloaded musterroll. Attendance
must be captured twice a day.

Pre-requisite:

a. Musterroll downloaded in the app.

b. Workers present at the worksite.
c. eKYC of all present workers.
d. Mates Login id and Password.
e. Mobile must be present at the worksite to capture attendance.
f. Internet is not mandatory for capturing attendance at worksite. This works offline.
f. Note: this is face based attendance system, mates must follow SOP for capturing group
photo. SOP for capturing group photo is added in Annexure A.

Step 1: Click on the “Capture Attendance”.

Step 2: Select the work code and muster roll number.

Step 3: Click on camera icon to capture group photograph.

Step 4: Capture group photograph as per SOP

Step 5: Verify the workers matched by the system.

Step 6: Click on “Save details”. This will open new screen and ask
to capture any random worker’s photograph as per the system by
blinking his/her eye.

Step 7: Click on “Save”

Step 8: Attendance is marked, close the screen.

Step 9: For those workers, who couldn’t be identified by system,

mark their attendance manually by clicking individual
photographs (currently not available, functionality development is
in progress)

PART D: Upload Attendance

Mates must upload captured attendance in the same day.

Pre-requisite:

a. Good Internet connection.

b. Already captured attendance.

Mates can upload all offline captured attendance once

he/she will be in internet zone.
Annexure A: SOP of capturing group photograph for attendance.

1. Clear Photo and face: All workers images should clearly be captured in the photo.
a. Remove glasses, goggles, Ghoonghat, and any mask on face.
b. Ask everyone to look into the camera side.
c. If number of workers present is more than 5, ask to sit some workers in front and let
some workers stands behind to them.
d. Always try to click the photograph in portrait mode.
2. Light: ensure enough light to capture group image, light should also be not too high
3. Background: No extra person should come from background or from side in the group
photograph except the workers present.

Examples:

Group Photo can be captured like this if total workers in

musterroll present is more than 5 or 6

Some people are standing in side was also captured. Mates should ensure that except the
workers present in the musterroll, no extra should come in the image.
Group photo can also be clicked like this but ensure every face is clearly visible.

This photo is not rightly clicked as there is not enough light.
