How to learn vocabulary – semantic field

Especially when preparing a new topic it can be a good idea to produce a semantic field. You can
prepare the content and the vocabulary at once.
Read a text and draw a mind map with the most important words. If you do not have a good text at
hand, you can go to Wikipedia and use the English entry for your topic or you can use a collocation
dictionary and make a mind map from the entry
(e.g. https://www.freecollocation.com/, https://inspirassion.com/en).
Make sure to consider nouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions in your semantic field. You are free to
structure it individually and to use colours for different purposes.
