The purpose of this SRS document is to specify
software requirements of the Online Admission.

GOAL
The main goal of the system is to automate the process carried out
in the organization with improved performance and realize the
vision of paperless admission.

Manage large number of student and manage all details for
student.
Create student accounts and maintain the data’s effectively.

send appropriate details about the course to the students account.

ABBREVIATION
1.VERIFICATION : student verifies the marks they scored in the
online entrance exam.
2.COUNSELING : university conduct the online counseling to admit
the student in the respective courses.
3.COURSE CATAIOG : courses catalog contains all the details about
courses.
4.MAINTENANCE : student information’s are maintained in a
separate log for maintenance.
5.REGISTRATION : to participate in the entrance exam conducted by
university. The student must provide all the details about him. This
process is called as registration.
6.STUDENT LOG : student information is maintained in a separate
log for future reference.
BENEFITS OF THE SYSTEM
1. Use of central database.
2. It is far more reasonable storage method
than a paper-based file system.
3. Software system are also much faster at
performing certain tasks.
4. Time can be saved performing processes.
5. Human error could also be a factor in that
mistakes could be made in the filling

6.Report generation : The system supports generation of
reports based on different criteria .
7.Record maintenance : The system also must keep the
statistical record of daily activities.
8.Online examination : enable the student to write the

to access them for the easy use.
A specific document should be prepared for the
maintenance of the system.

This section will introduce the numerous requirement
of the system from the point of view of different users
and will introduce a number of decisions that have
been made regarding implementation.

Applicants will carry out their own registration. This will
enable the system to display personalized information,
when user logs in certain information.

The application process will be as straight forward as

ability to update their personal details at any time.
