character for ethical leadership, thus using virtue ethics

• It refers to a high standard of truth set by an ethical
leader.
• Leading by example with truthful communication is
excellent, but the organization also needs to adopt truth a
primary value in a top-down approach, from board
members to staff people.
• Leaders need to conduct investigations and review
allegations of lies or wrongdoing without first blaming
others.
