About MediCodio
MediCodio Inc, a next gen AI powered by healthcare software company.

Mr. Umesh Vaidyamath (KLE TECH alumni 1989 batch ) and Mr. Raj Vaidyamath (KLE TECH
alumni 1988 batch ), are serial technology entrepreneurs who founded Medicodio Inc in 2021 .

Company provides cutting edge technology enabled products which boost the accuracy of
medical billing by 85% drive efficiency in overall billing cycle by 60%.

Company’s flagship product, CODIO, is an AI/ML enabled software which reads into the patient
information from electronic health records (EHR) and recommends the most appropriate, precise
and complaint medical codes – CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) and ICD10 (International
Classification of Diseases).

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible Branches: CSE,ECE,ECE(II),EEE

Eligibility Criteria: 10th : 70% & above or 7 CGPA & above

12th/Diploma aggregate : 70% & above or 7 CGPA & above
BE : CGPA of 7 and above at the end of 6th semester. No current Backlogs.
Job Requirements
● Proficiency in commonly used programming languages and frameworks.
● Experience in using ChatGPT throughout the software development process, especially in
tasks such as coding, debugging, and documentation.
● Robust problem-solving capabilities and a strong passion for innovation.
● Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Offered

Internship : 18,000/Month

Full time : Year 1 : 5 lakh (fixed) + 2 lakh (Retention bonus)

Year 2 : 7 lakh (fixed) + 2 lakh (Retention bonus)

Year 3 : 10 lakh (fixed) + 3 lakh (Retention bonus)

Interview Process
● Day 1 ( 12th Oct 2023) : Pre Placement Talk, Aptitude Test
● Day 2 (13th Oct 2023) : Group Discussion,Technical Round 1, Technical Round 2, HR Round
● Day 3 (16th Oct 2023) : The Final Round

Total 444 students were registered. In that HR shortlisted 125 students based on CGPA ( for CSE
CGPA 8.3 and above, for ECE CGPA 8.5 and above)
110 students had written the Aptitude Test. In that 25 were shortlisted.
For all 25 students further GD , Technical 1 , Technical 2 , and HR rounds were taken.
After HR round 10 were shortlisted.
For those 10 shortlisted students the final round was taken and at the end total 9 students (CSE :
7 , ECE : 2) got selected.
Aptitude Test
● Aptitude test held in offline mode.
● Test consists of 3 sections : Logical, Numerical ,Technical.
● Test duration : 90 mins. There was a time limit for each section.
● Logical and Numerical questions were from PALR topics. Difficulty level was easy to medium.
● Make sure to have a thorough understanding of all PALR topics. It is more than sufficient.
● Technical section consists of “sql queries”, “predict the output” and “find the errors from code
snippet” type of questions.
● Code snippets were in Python, Java.
Group Discussion
● It was a non elimination round. But they will check your communication skills.
● First formed the batch of 8 students. The topic given to our batch was “Pros and Cons of
ChatGPT”.
● Usually they will give 2 mins to prepare. But we were not given any time to prepare.
● This round went for 10 mins.
● Your performance in group discussion plays an important role in the final selection. So make an
effort to speak multiple times.
● They will eliminate you directly if you don't speak up even once.
Technical Round 1
The duration of this round was around 40 minutes . Here are some questions that were asked:
● Introduce yourself.
● Explain the project that you have done during internship in detail.
● What was your role in that project? In response to my answer he told to write python prompt to
perform binarization on images.
● How much do you rate yourself in sql?
● Write sql query to create 3 table of your choice and perform any type of join on that and explain
me the logic.
● Write sql query to display top 2 students details based on their marks. Also some query related
to group by clause was asked.
● Write different data types that you are familiar with.
● He gave me one value and asked which data type will be suitable to store that value.
● What is string?
● Explain hierarchical inheritance with example.
Technical Round 1 (Continued )
● Do you know anything about API call?
● Assume there are two different application. Is it possible to transfer data from one application to
another?
● If it is possible, explain how it will work?
● Do you have any questions for me?
Note : The questions they are going to ask will totally depend on your resume and your answers to

previous questions. So have depth knowledge on each and every word in your resume.

The duration of this round was more than 1 hour . Here are some questions that were asked:
● What is your biggest strength?
● Tell me the scenario where you have learnt new things.
● What makes you happy?
● Tell me the scenario where you come with your new ideas?
● Where do you see yourself after 5 years?
Technical Round 2 (Continued )
● What do you know about NoSQL?
● Why now a days many companies are moving from RDBMS to NoSQL? For this question he gave me
5 mins time and told to find answer using ChatGPT.
● Assume one online shopping application where particular page consists of information like user
details, ordered product details and payment details. How all these data are stored in RDBMS? What
are all the related tables?
● Consider the above scenario itself and now you want to change database from RDBMS to NoSQL.
Then how will you store data in NoSQL to achieve faster access, read and write operation?
● Any questions for me?

Note : In this round they mainly concentrated on our problem solving skills and thinking ability by giving
any real time scenario. Also checked how efficiently we use ChatGPT to find any solution
HR Round
The duration of this round was around 15 - 20 mins. Here are some questions that were asked:
● Introduce yourself.
● Explain your internship project. Many questions related to that project were asked.
● What do you do in free time?
● I had mentioned some certificates in my resume. So he asked who recommended you to do this
certificate?
● Will you recommend this certification course to others?
● Whenever you learn new things or if you have read some new book or blog, have you ever
recommended that to your friends?
● Where do you want to see yourself after 5 years?
● Which job location will you choose, Hubli or Bangalore?
● Do you have any questions for me?
Note : Job location was Bangalore. But they are planning to open their new branch at Hubli. So he asked
what is my preference.
Final Round
● This round was taken to all 10 shortlisted students together.

● The duration of this round was around 2 hrs 30 mins. The company CEO Mr. Umesh Vaidyamath

addressed all of us.

● First he introduced himself and they he asked these questions to all of us : introduction, reason to

choose your branch and where do you see yourself in next 5 years.

● Next he explained about their working environment , job roles and why ChatGPT is must in their

work.

● He asked all of us why you all have used ChatGPT so far.

● Assume that some work was assigned to you which will take 8 hrs. How long does it take you to

complete the same work using ChatGPT and what is the productivity of that work?
Final Round (Continued)
● He had given 2 scenarios and asked us to get answers using ChatGPT. He wanted to check how we
will provide prompts to ChatGPT.

Scenario 1 : Create employee table. Perform insertion, deletion and updation operations on that
table.

Scenario 2 : You are an employee of MediCodio. Your team is going to participate in one healthcare
conference as a exhibitor where you will be giving the presentation about the company’s various
products. Come up with the complete plan of action.

At the end for all 9 students internship + full time was offered.
