For Christmas, my mum baked chocolate cake for dessert. It was


so delicious! She made it from scratch – all by herself, every part
of it was made by her. She didn’t use ready-made cake mix, she
made every part of it herself. It was incredible. I felt sick because
I ate so much of it.

Spelling Rules for Verbs Ending in -ed


1. Add -ed to the base form of most verbs that end in a consonant. start-started

2. Add -d if the base form of the verb ends in -e. dance-danced

3. When the base form of the verb ends in a consonant + -y, change the -y to -i and add -ed. cry-cried
