Migration in India: NSS Survey The document proposes creating interactive data visualizations from India's National Sample Survey (NSS) on migration to share important demographic data with the public. Researchers collected survey responses from over 500,000 individuals across India on who migrated, where they migrated to, and their reasons for migrating. The researchers suggest hosting interactive dashboards of the raw NSS migration data using TIBCO Spotfire for public exploration of the data to create value for both the public and researchers while protecting privacy. They invite others working with sensitive data in academia, government, industry and non-profits to share useful information through visualization.
