2021
Lesson Objective
▪I can define and explain the
construction and working of Buzzer
sensor.
▪I can define and explain the
construction and working of Buzzer
sensor.
▪I can create project based on
Active/ Passive Buzzer Sound
Production.
Topic : Introduction to Buzzer
Sensor & Project on Sound
Production.
Week 10 – 31st to 4th Nov

TOPIC – EXPLORING MORE IN DETAIL THE
HARDWARE & SOFTWARE USED FOR ARDUINO UNO
Standard:
Computing Systems Hardware & Software : 9-12.CS.2 Compare levels of abstraction
and interactions between application software, system software, and hardware. (P4.1)
Algorithms & Programming Variables: 9-12.AP.13 Create more generalized
computational solutions using collections instead of repeatedly using simple variables.

SOUND/BUZZER SENSOR
SOUND/BUZZER SENSOR
Lesson 1 & 2 – Activity task 1 – (Individual task 40
Mints)
Q1) What the 2 types of Buzzers sensor?
Q2) What is the difference between Buzzer and
Speaker?
Q3) From the video watched the explain the
Construction and working of the BUZZER?
Answer the questions in the IOT Notebook.
Lesson 3 & 4– Activity task 1 – (Individual task 40
Mints)
Buzzers are divided into active and passive buzzers.
Passive buzzers don’t carry with vibrator inside, so it
need external sine or square wave to drive. It can
produces slight sound when connecting directly to
power supply. It features controlling sound frequency
and producing the sound of “do re mi fa so la si”. In
this project, with passive buzzer, we use graphical
programming to make this buzzer produce sound at
Project :- Passive Buzzer Sound
Production
Lesson 3 & 4– Activity task 1 – (Individual task 40
Mints)
KEYESTUDIO UNO Control
Board - 1
V5 Sensor Shield - 1
Passive buzzer - 1
Female to Female Dupont Line - 3
Materials Required
Lesson 3 & 4– Activity task 1 – (Individual task 40
Mints)
Connection Diagram
Refer to the image of Code and Code according
to your connections and see what happens?
Then connect the Active buzzer sensor and see
what is the difference?
STUDENT’S REFLECTION
Put a tick mark on (WWW) & (MEP) in the class (W10)
Learning Targets WWW MEP
Able to define and explain the
construction and working of Buzzer
sensor.
Able to identify & connect the required
material used for the sound Production
project.
Able to create project based on Active/
Passive Buzzer Sound Production.
