The Solution: The solutions were based on the ORACLE FlexCube Core Banking System and ATC’s proprietary FRP system. The Project: The client decided to invest in a Group- specific version of the systems that would become the new standard for the Bank for any future installa- tions across all geographies. The task involved a high degree of customization of the FlexCube ORACLE solution and extensive training of engineers. Upon completion of the project, all as- sets were transferred to the client and ORACLE ac- quired the ATC Core Banking Division. The Solution: ATC undertook (a) product develop- ment and support of all existing key products and (b) product design, development and support of new of- ferings or versions of existing products. In late 2014, and on the grounds of improving Return on Equity, the client acquired the team, without relocating it, ex- pecting a break-even within 15 months. DICE is a collaborative research project aim- ing to define a quality-driven develop- ment methodology and related tools that will markedly accelerate the development of busi- ness-critical data-intensive applications running on public or private clouds. ATC’s software engi- neers and architects with knowledge in Model- Driven Software Engineering will enhance DICE tools, update the methodology and exploit Big Data technologies. Hadoop/MapReduce, NoSQL, cloud-based storage, and streaming/batch pro- cessing will be utilized/applied in order to modern- ize real life industrial applications. HEADS project leverages Model-Driven Software Engineering and genera- tive programming techniques to provide a new integrated software engineering approach which enables the advanced exploitation of the full range of diversity and specificity of the future computing continuum. ATC’s software engineers and archi- tects will strongly participate in the implementa- tion, verification and validation of an open-source Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that will be realized on top of HEADS-Specific Modeling Languages. HEADS IDE will firstly benefit to ser- vices developers by allowing them to easily exploit a set of heterogeneous platform (mobile devices, sensors, smart objects, etc.) in the design of their cloud based services as well as platform experts which can capitalize their knowledge of a specific platform as a reusable plug-in available to all.
