What is Solutions Challenge?
➔ Organized by GDG On Campus in collaboration with Hack2skill
for student developers from various colleges/universities across
India who are a part of GDG on Campus program.
➔ The Solutions Challenge is an opportunity for student developers to
tackle pressing social issues—such as education, healthcare,
sustainability, and more—using Google Developer technologies.
➔ Student developers not only gain invaluable skills but also
contribute to making a positive impact on society. Solutions Challenge
The Google Developers Group 2025 Solution
Challenge mission is to solve for one of the United
Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals using
Google technology.
Created by the United Nations in 2015 to be achieved
by 2030, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) agreed upon by all 193 United Nations
Member States aim to end poverty, ensure prosperity,
and protect the planet.

Eligibility
Who can participate?
● University students (undergraduate and
graduate)
● Above the age of majority in the country,
state, province, or jurisdiction of
residence (often this age is 18 years old)
● Open to any GDG members (including
leads and core team)
● Each person can only join one team
Team Building Rules
● Teams can be 1 - 4 people (no more than 4)
● At least 1 person on the team must be a GDG mem

To complete your registration, you need to sign up for Dev Profile.
Go to Developers.Google.com
Sign in/Sign up with your Google Account
Fill in your basic details as prompted during the setup
Complete the profile setup
To get the Dev Profile Link follow the instructions given below
1. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner and select “Profile”
2. The Dev Profile link is located below your profile name.
3. Some might see this means the profile is still private. Change the
profile from private to public.
a. To make the profile public and get Dev Profile Link, click on the “Set custom
web address ”
b. It will automatically direct to set the profile to public. Click on “Public” option
and create your own web address
c. Click on “Save” and now the link is available below the name on the profile.
4. Use the DevProfile link while registering for the Solutions Challenge

Project Submission
❏ Submit a deck that clearly explains your solution using the provided template
❏ Share a YouTube or Vimeo video (up to 3 minutes) explaining your solution
❏ Share the link to your source code on GitHub
❏ Project created after 1st December, 2024 will be accepted for submission
Note: Projects using Google tools like Gemini APIs, IDX, Vertex AI, etc., will earn additional
points

The top 10 teams will be invited to the finale:

Note: Participation in the Bootcamp is entirely optional and meant to serve as a helpful pit stop on
your journey with the Solutions Challenge. The project submission process continues as scheduled,
regardless of Bootcamp participation.
