Love is Blind couple announce birth of first child and reveal sweet name
The pair, who met on the first season of Love Is Blind, have announced the arrival of their newborn baby.
Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, the beloved couple from the inaugural season of Netflix show Love Is Blind in 2020, have announced the arrival of their first child.
The pair, who quickly won over viewers' hearts on hit show Love Is Blind, are now proud parents to a baby boy. They've chosen the name Ezra for their son, which translates to "help" or "helper" in Hebrew.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Lauren and Cameron shared adorable snapshots of their newborn and their hospital stay.
Their caption read: "To God be the GLORY! Our son, Ezra William Hamilton, made his debut October 1st, a little earlier than planned, but perfectly on God's time.
"After an unexpected turn with preeclampsia and a few days in the hospital, we've been taking it slow ... healing, resting, and soaking up all the love."
As per the NHS, pre-eclampsia is "a condition that affects some pregnant women, usually during the second half of pregnancy (from 20 weeks) or soon after their baby is delivered".
Early indicators of pre-eclampsia include high blood pressure and protein in your urine, while other symptoms can involve severe headaches, vision problems, pain below the ribs, vomiting and sudden swelling of the face, hands or feet.
Back in May 2025, Cameron and Lauren shared their thrilling pregnancy news after four years of trying to conceive, reports OK!.
The heartwarming Instagram video chronicled their romantic journey from meeting on Love Is Blind to building a home together and adopting their first pet.
In August, the couple announced they were expecting a baby boy, following their previous struggles with fertility and their journey through IVF.
"It's been a long time coming," Lauren confessed to People in May. "We've literally been trying to get pregnant for four years."
Lauren and Cameron hold the distinction of being the first couple to get engaged on Love Is Blind, tying the knot on the show in front of a small group of family and friends.
Celebrating their sixth anniversary this year, Lauren posted a portrait of them both on Instagram, captioning it: "Six years of love, laughter, and building a beautiful life together.
"Every day with you is a reminder that love truly is the best adventure. Thank you for being my partner, my rock, and my greatest joy."
Last October, the couple launched their own podcast, The Love Seat, which "dives deep into the real stories and complexities of love".
Love Is Blind is available to stream now on Netflix.
