Meghan Markle pays sweet tribute to Prince Harry on World Mental Health Day

Meghan Markle has paid a sweet tribute to Prince Harry to mark World Mental Health Day.
Meghan, 44, shared the timely tribute to her husband, 41, after the pair were crowned 'Humanitarians of the Year' at the Project Healthy Minds gala in New York City on Thursday evening. The pair were honored with Meghan notably celebrated for her work as "a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and philanthropist."
Their NYC appearance comes after Meghan was recently in France for Paris Fashion Week, which saw her draw criticism for filming herself on the backseat of a car ride as she went past the spot where Princess Diana died.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Friday, Meghan shared a black and white video clip of her and Harry backstage before attending the gala.
She captioned the clip, "Happy World Mental Health Day...to the main who always keeps me laughing."
The video showed Meghan laughing at something Harry said, but fans will never know exactly what, as the clip was set to the backdrop of the 1962 song Baby C'est Vous by Sylvie Vartan.
It comes after the pair were noted as appearing awkward on the red carpet in Manhattan, with some critics noting that Harry appeared to be "pulling" his wife along to keep her moving. At one point he appeared to be telling his wife to "come on now."
At another point Meghan was noted as "glowering" as she was left stood alone as Harry spoke with a member of the event team.
A critic told the Daily Mail, "She seems to be making a real effort to look demure, not overshadow him the whole red carpet."
The pair's charity and philanthropic efforts were celebrated at the awards, where Meghan was praised as "a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and philanthropist" as she received the award. Alongside her, Harry was also praised, with his work with mental health companies and his controversial 2023 memoir Spare listed among his achievements.
The couple might have been picking up a celebratory award, but their behaviour showed cracks in their relationship as lip reader NJ Hickling has told the Express US that Meghan appeared to be scolding her husband on the red carpet.
After analyzing the couple on the red carpet, Hickling said one moment "hints at an off-camera strain between them."
The lip reader said, "Meghan turns to Harry, waiting for a moment, hoping to catch his attention and trying to avoid the cameras. She says quickly, 'We have to look together now.' he replies softly, 'Yeah,' and shifts his footing."
Hickling concluded, "Her composure is flawless, but Harry’s expression and body language suggest unease, distant and detached, despite the physical closeness."
