Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi 'rejects buyer' for $43M Florida property near Trump's Mar-a-Lago

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has reportedly refused to sell his $43M Palm Beach mansion, turning down a mystery buyer snapping up properties near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi has reportedly declined multiple multimillion-dollar offers to sell his prized oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida, despite growing interest from a mystery buyer who has been rapidly snapping up properties along the elite North Ocean Boulevard strip.

Bon Jovi, 63, purchased the Mediterranean-style mansion in 2020 for $43 million. Located at 1075 North Ocean Boulevard, just south of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, the estate spans 10,232 square feet and boasts seven bedrooms.

The luxurious home, built in 2007, features a courtyard swimming pool, gym, wine cellar, elevators, a three-car garage, and two oceanfront loggias offering sweeping views of the Atlantic.

Despite repeated offers - reportedly at or above the purchase price - the singer has remained steadfast in his decision not to sell, according to The Daily Mail.

The buyer’s identity remains unknown, but The Wall Street Journal reports that they have already spent approximately $250 million on four nearby properties.

Among the purchases are two oceanfront lots formerly owned by cosmetics heir William Lauder, totaling around 2.8 acres with 360 feet of beachfront, along with two inland properties bought for $18 million and $30 million—well above their previous valuations.

Mar-a-Lago, originally constructed in 1927 and purchased by Donald Trump in 1985 for $10 million, has become a focal point of Palm Beach’s social and political scene. Trump now values the club at close to $1 billion, and membership fees reportedly run as high as $1 million.

However many longtime Palm Beach residents are uneasy about the growing number of Trump supporters moving into the area, according to reports.

“I think this town is a little bit aghast at itself,” said Palm Beach native and designer Celerie Kemble, in an interview with The New York Times.

Back in October, Jon Bon Jovi publicly endorsed Kamala Harris in her campaign for the presidency, featuring her in a new music video for his song The People's House.

"The People’s House is a song that celebrates this beautiful place that we call home, from sea to shining sea," he wrote. "The truth matters. And the truth is on election day I’ll be voting for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz because I believe in the power of we, not of me. I’ve written a song reminding us that out of many, we are still one."
