He answered: "I don't know yet. We are working on it." He added: "It's not a no."

In the docuseries, Jon opens up about his health scare and undergoing a major vocal chord surgery. He told Michael Strahan that he did not anticipate anything happening, but he wanted to be open and honest with his fans.

The singer is still in recovery after going under the knife, having taken the drastic step of vocal cord surgery almost two years ago. He admitted he even turned to “voodoo” and all sorts of experimental medicines and methods to fix his voice in a bid to avoid surgery. He even revealed that the road to recovery "sucks" but he is healing now.

He discussed his progress and told Fox News Digital: "It sucks, but, if I put it into comparison to athletes, and when Kobe and the achilles, or Michael Strahan and the pec, Tom Brady with the knee, Tiger Woods preparing for yet another Masters. It doesn't get any easier for any of those guys." He added: "And I know their work ethic and mine are very similar. No one anticipates injury like that. And it's up to God to fix it or not, but I'm certainly right next to the Lord himself working on it."

The band is back rehearsing to test his voice with a view to going back on the road. With his three children soon to be married, he wrote a song for his daughter and he hopes he can sing the song on her big day. All he needs to do is "get through it".
