Love Is Blind fans rage at season 9 finale as whole season 'could've been an email'

History was made during the Love Is Blind season 9 finale, and fans weren't surprised as they considered it the "most bizarre" season yet.

It was the first season in the Netflix reality dating show's history to not have a single couple tie the knot. Three of the six couples didn't even make it to the show's anticipated finale.

Kacie broke up with Patrick shortly after meeting him but before the group vacation to Mexico; Nick broke up with Annie before the dress and tux fittings due to their constant arguments; and Joe broke up with Madison after he claimed he didn't think the relationship was going to work.

This left three couples: Megan and Jordan, Ali and Anton, and Kalybriah and Edmond. In the hour-long episode that dropped on Wednesday, October 22, Megan and Jordan didn't even make it to the altar, with Megan claiming she didn't realize how much of a commitment being a stepmother to Jordan's son, Luca, would be.

The two other couples who did make it to the altar saw the men saying yes, but both Ali and Kalybriah said no through tears. Fans reacted on X, formerly known as Twitter, complaining that the finale was too long for such an anticlimactic end.

"The season finale of love is blind could’ve been a 5-minute youtube video instead #LoveIsBlind," one person wrote. "This entire season could’ve been an email #LoveIsBlind," a second added.

A third complained, "This episode could’ve been shown last week & the reunion could be today. This wasn’t a shock episode at all. [eye roll emojis] #LoveIsBlindS9 #LoveIsBlind #LoveisBlind9."

"This love is Blind Season didn’t need to be released. I need to reclaim my time #LoveIsBlindS9," someone else demanded.

The couples this season also didn't impress fans, as someone tweeted, "Not one. Couple. And you know [what I'm] ok with that. #LoveIsBlind #LoveIsBlindS9."

But that doesn't mean that the fans aren't seated for the reunion set to premiere next week. "So no one married and Megan +Jordan didn’t even make to the [altar]? This season was a dumpster but I’ll be back for the reunion! #LoveIsBlind."

The Love Is Blind season 9 reunion is set to air on October 29.
