Karoline Leavitt sparks outrage claiming Democrats are 'Hamas terrorists'
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has claimed that the Democratic Party's main constituency is made up of "Hamas terrorists" and "violent criminals."
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has made outrageous assertions that the Democratic Party's primary base consists of "Hamas terrorists."
Leavitt delivered the shocking remarks during a Fox News appearance earlier today.
"The Democrat Party's main constituency are made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals," Leavitt declared.
"That is who the Democrat Party is catering to. Not the Trump administration, not the White House, and not the Republican Party, who is standing up for law-abiding Americans, not just across the country but around the world," Leavitt continued during the segment titled: Now Karoline Leavitt on NYC's Mamdani.
Numerous politicians and activists quickly condemned Leavitt for her remarks, reports the Irish Star.
Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut shared the footage, on X, slamming Leavitt's inflammatory language.
"This is grossly dark. These are broken people. But it's also so politically dumb. How do they think Americans will react to being told that anyone who doesn't support Trump is a terrorist?" he questioned.
Florida congressional hopeful Richard Lamondin branded Leavitt's statements "depraved.
" I come from a Republican family. I'm a Democrat. My parents are good people, and so are my wife and I. Millions of our fellow Americans-Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike -are also good, hardworking people. To call us criminals and terrorists is indecent and depraved," Lamondin posted on X. Human Rights Campaign National Press Secretary Brandon J.
Wolf took a jab, writing: "Remember when they pretended to want to 'turn down the temperature?'".
This comes after NYC's Democratic-Socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani made an appearance on Fox News this past Wednesday. During his segment, Mamdani directly addressed President Donald Trump, offering to work together on issues impacting New Yorkers.
"I just want to speak directly to the president. I will not be a mayor like Mayor Adams, who will call you to figure out how to stay out of jail. I won't be a disgraced governor like Andrew Cuomo, who will call you to ask how to win this election. I can do those things on my own. I will, however, be a mayor who is ready to speak at any time to lower the cost of living," he declared.
Mamdani went on to express that the needs of working-class Americans and New Yorkers are often overlooked.
Tonight at 7 p. m., Mamdani, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, now running as an Independent, and Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa will face off in New York City's first mayoral debate for the general election.
Currently, Mamdani is leading the race for mayor, with Cuomo trailing behind him, and Sliwa following suit.
