Zelensky's dumbfounded reaction to reporter's 'right-wing propagandist' question
President Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House to discuss ending the War in Ukraine.
President Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday at the White House to discuss ending the War in Ukraine. But as they answered talked to reporters, the Ukrainian president was stunned by a bizarre question from a right-wing journalist.
The woman began her question by praising President Trump for his involvement in the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, claiming that Americans "from both sides of the aisle" are very proud of him and his job.
"Our president has stuck out his neck in many ways to make a peace deal for your war as well," the reporter told Zelensky. "What concessions are you willing to make to end this war with Russia?"
"Americans have foreign-war fatigue and as our president has said, we need our Tomahawks too," the woman continued, making reference to the long-ranging missiles the U.S. has recently given to Ukraine.

"So many questions in one," Zelensky said in response.
"First of all, I think we need to sit and speak. The second point is that we need a ceasefire," he continued.
Of the moment, journalist Aaron Rupar wrote on X: "Zelensky is taken aback by a question from a right-wing propagandist who asks him what concessions he's willing to make to Putin."
Zelensky arrived in Washington on Thursday, hoping to get more American support, including the long-range missiles, which Trump has hinted at for weeks.
During the meeting, Trump seemed energized to reach a ceasefire deal, as he is coming from the heels of a historic agreement between Israel and Hamas. He also continued his assertion that he has ended eight wars.
Trump's relationship with Zelensky has faced hurdles, and the tone of this meeting was very different to the Ukrainian's February White House visit.
Back then, Trump called Zelensky in the Oval Office a "dictator without elections," claiming he has done a terrible job leading his country. Trump also made jibes about Zelensky's more casual wardrobe, which some senior Republicans deemed inappropriate for an Oval Office visit.
Months later, in July, following days of paused shipments of precision munitions to Ukraine, Trump announced he will sell $10 billion in weapons to NATO, with the supplies eventually reaching Ukraine. The two met again in D.C. in August, where they seemed more cordial.
The meeting in the Oval Office comes a day after Trump announced he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Hungary following a "very productive" phone call.
A date for the meeting remains unknown, but Trump said it will take place "within two weeks or so, pretty quick."
