Melania Trump will never leave Donald for this chilling reason, says ex-aide
Stepanie Grisham said Melania Trump "knew who she married" and said the First Lady "absolutely knows who he is" when it comes to her husband Donald Trump's antics
Melania Trump was never going to walk away from husband Donald – despite the legal storm that surrounded the president last year.
That’s according to her former press secretary and close aide, Stephanie Grisham, who gave rare insight into the former First Lady’s thinking during a CNN interview at the time.
Grisham appeared on Erin Burnett OutFront just hours after Donald Trump’s ex-lawyer and longtime fixer Michael Cohen took the stand in a dramatic courtroom session.
Cohen’s testimony touched on Trump’s personal affairs and Melania’s reactions to the scandals that rocked their marriage, including alleged hush money payments. But Grisham insisted Melania has always been aware of who she married. It comes after Melania's alarming confession on a Donald relationship change where she admitted 'it's over'.

At the time, Trump was on trial over accusations he falsified business records ahead of the 2016 election to silence damaging stories.
The allegations suggest he silenced adult film star Stormy Daniels with hush money regarding a purported sexual encounter. Trump has always refuted all affair allegations and any intimate relations with Ms Daniels, reports the Mirror.
Trump was sentenced to an unconditional discharge - meaning he avoided prison, fines or probation, but remained a convicted felon.
Ms Grisham elaborated: "Could Melania Trump be angry right now about all of this being out there and about their personal lives and it's humiliating? Absolutely on a personal level."
Trump's ex-attorney and fixer Michael Cohen testified during the proceedings that Trump seemed unbothered by his wife's potential reaction to discovering an alleged affair, appearing more focused on the campaign. Cohen revealed he questioned Trump about how the story might affect his marriage to Melania.
Cohen revealed that Trump reassured him, saying: "Don't worry," and added: "How long do you think I'll be on the market for? Not long." Cohen interpreted this remark as a clear indication that "this was all about the campaign."
Ms Grisham chimed in: "I think that comment [from Trump] to Cohen rang absolutely true. She's happy, she's got a very good life. She's not going anywhere, that's been proven. And so I absolutely believe he said something like that to Michael Cohen."
