Rock singer Ann Everton, known for her work with the band Darsombra, tragically lost her life in a multi-vehicle accident while traveling through upstate New York at the age of 43.

Jon Garrett, Ann's brother-in-law, has since shared a touching tribute to the late musician, reports the Daily Star.

He expressed: "On behalf of the Everton family, it is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking news that my sister-in-law, Ann Everton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon following a car accident".

The two bandmates were husband and wife and had shared nearly two decades together.

Daniloski was at the wheel of the van as the couple made their way to "Darsombra's" first tour stop in Montreal on Friday.

"It's been awful," said Jason Daniloski, brother to Brian Daniloski. "I've never heard anguish like that in anybody's voice."

Couple built life around music and wellness

Describing themselves as a "trans-apocalyptic galaxy rock duo", the pair didn't just perform music as a partnership, but also taught yoga for a living. Their free classes were available through Baltimore City Parks and Recreation.

"They were a perfect fit for each other. They fed off each other's creativity," Evanshaw said. "They were a partnership that so few people got to experience."

Heartfelt messages offer solace to grieving family

Tributes and messages of support have flooded social media, bringing some comfort to the devastated family during their darkest hours.

The legacy Everton leaves behind extends far beyond her musical achievements, touching the lives of everyone who knew her.

"I think her legacy lies in how she loved openly and freely," Evanshaw said. "I think her legacy is in her acceptance and the joy that she brought and the love that she shared."

Police continue probe into tragedy

New York State Police said on Monday that the crash is still under investigation.

It comes after an evil dad's incest secret was hidden in a family photo before all seven were killed in a massacre.
