3 best bets for NBA Wednesday games, including Derrick White player prop
Check out the three best bets for Wednesday night's 12-game NBA slate, including a Derrick White player prop and a pick against the spread
The NBA season tip-off on Tuesday brought us a double-overtime thriller between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets, Kevin Durant getting booed by fans of his former team, and the reveal of Michael Jordan’s role with NBC.
Plenty more is on tap for Wednesday night, including 24 teams in action across 12 games.
There will be two nationally-televised games on ESPN, starting with the New York Knicks hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers before the San Antonio Spurs visit the Dallas Mavericks to finish the night.
Mirror Sports US has compiled the three best bets across the 12-game slate, including two player prop selections and a pick against the spread.

White takes on more responsibility in the Celtics offense in the absence of Jayson Tatum, who will miss the majority if not all of their 2025/26 season recovering from a torn Achilles.
I believe White, alongside Jaylen Brown, will be the primary ball-handler and shot-taker for Boston all season, including on Wednesday night against the 76ers.
In 14 games without Tatum since the start of the 2023/24 season, White averages 20.3 points, 6.9 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Orlando Magic -8.5 (-102) vs Miami Heat
I am on the Magic bandwagon from the opening tip of game one this year.
The offseason addition of Desmond Bane bolsters an already stout roster led by Franz Wagner and darkhorse MVP candidate Paolo Banchero. Jamahl Mosley’s team allowed the fewest points per game (105.5) of any team last season, and I expect that defensive solidity to continue this season.
The Heat begin the season without leading scorer Tyler Herro (23.9 PPG last season), which could cause serious issues for Erik Spoelstra’s offense.
I am backing Orlando to cover the spread against its in-state rival to open the season.
Jalen Johnson Over 26.5 Points + Rebounds (-124)
Despite playing only 36 regular season games last year, Hawks forward Jalen Johnson showed signs of drastic improvement, averaging career-bests in points, rebounds, and assists, blocks, and steals per game. If Atlanta becomes a top-eight team in the East like some expect them to, the 23-year-old will be a big reason why.
