Amazon slashes price of Hisense 4K TV by 44% in January sale
The Hisense 43" 4K smart TV has been highlighted as an 'Amazon's Choice' product
Amazon has slashed the price of a popular Hisense TV in its January sale. The 43" Hisense 4K smart TV is now just £229, down from its usual price of £429. There's also a hefty discount on the 50" model, which is now only £279, reduced from £499.
The Hisense TV has been given the 'Amazon's Choice' label, a tag reserved for highly rated and well-priced products that are ready to ship immediately. Hisense is a popular brand known for its budget-friendly TVs, with this specific model offering 4K Ultra HD picture quality at a fraction of the cost of big-name brands.
It features Dolby Vision HDR, capable of delivering highlights up to 40 times brighter than a standard picture. It can also upscale non-4K content to ensure you always get the best image and has an adaptive light sensor that adjusts the picture based on the room's brightness.
The Hisense TV is perfect for gamers due to its Game Mode PLUS setting, which enhances the TV's performance by reducing input lag and improving picture quality. It also offers easy access to major streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
The Hisense 4K smart TV has earned a 4.4-star rating after more than 1,900 Amazon reviews, reports the Express. One satisfied customer said: "I was extremely impressed with the overall quality of this TV, it definitely exceeded my expectations. The quality of picture, sound and ease of use is excellent, I honestly can't recommend it enough. We don't have a TV aerial so it's running from WiFi [and] the quality is perfect we've had no issues with picture or performance. An excellent TV and an amazing price."
Another added: "The TV is amazing. The picture quality is fantastic and the sound is brilliant, in fact I actually think it sounds better and clearer than the Samsung TV it's replacing. If you're thinking about buying this TV you will not regret it. I'm literally blown away by the quality of the product for the price it cost. Had I paid full price, I still wouldn't be disappointed."
A third happy shopper added: "Excellent for consoles. Picture quality for the next gen consoles is excellent for the price you pay, would highly recommend getting the settings correct on your console then the TV does the rest. Really easy set up, loads of apps to choose from on the smart TV function if that's what you're going for. Well worth it."
However, one customer wasn't impressed by the audio quality. They said: "Picture is great, but sound is pretty poor by itself. We added a soundbar, which I'd suggest is probably essential unless you don't care about sound." Find out about the latest events in Wales by signing up to our What's On newsletter here
Currys also have a number of deals on 4K TVs. There is £70 off an LG 43-inch LED 4K HDR Smart TV, which is now on sale for £309. A slightly cheaper option is the Toshiba LED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, which is available on John Lewis for £239.
For those who'd rather spread the cost of a new telly, Sky has slashed its Sky Glass bundles to just £29, down from £33. This package not only includes a 4K QLED smart TV with built-in Sky TV, but also offers over 100 channels including Sky Atlantic, as well as Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions.
