Code Review
This pull request upgrades the sgl-kernel dependency from version 0.3.5 to 0.3.7. The version bump is consistently applied to the project's dependencies in pyproject.toml and the runtime version check in the engine. My review includes a suggestion to improve maintainability by avoiding the duplication of the version string and to align the runtime version check with the exact version specified in the dependencies.

The hardcoded version string "0.3.7" is also present in pyproject.toml. This duplication can lead to inconsistencies if the version is updated in one place but not the other. It would be more robust to have a single source of truth for this version number.
Additionally, assert_pkg_version checks if the installed version is >= 0.3.7, while pyproject.toml pins the exact version with == 0.3.7. This inconsistency could allow an incompatible newer version to pass the check if installed manually. For stricter dependency management, you might consider checking for exact version equality.
