NAI Comments on DOJ Rulemaking on Data Brokerage and Bulk Sensitive Data

On November 29, the NAI submitted comments in response to the Department of Justice (DOJ) Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to regulate transfers of Americans’ sensitive data to foreign adversaries. The draft rule is substantially focused on data used for digital advertising, highlighting research that articulates the potential for threats to national security if this data is in the hands of foreign adversaries.
