Liam Gallagher snubs Oasis after party as Noel hits up same club as Lily Allen

Noel Gallagher ended Oasis’ UK tour with a celebrity-filled party at Chiltern Firehouse, while Liam skipped most of the festivities to rest his voice but later reunited with his brother at Wembley to toast their success and hint at more shows next year

Noel Gallagher marked the end of Oasis’ UK tour with a glamorous party at London’s Chiltern Firehouse on Sunday, rubbing shoulders with a string of celebrities including Lily Allen, Lily James, Poppy Delevingne, David Gardner, Jordan Barrett, Alice Dellal, and Lady Victoria Hervey.

The 58-year-old singer was joined by his girlfriend, Sally Mash, and celebrated amid catering and “unlimited Supersonic cocktails,” taking full advantage of the venue’s recent reopening.

While Noel’s daughter Anaïs, 25, and Liam Gallagher’s son Gene, 24, attended, Liam opted for a quieter evening with his partner Debbie Gwyther, prioritising rest for his voice. “Liam’s decided to have a low-key celebration with Debbie instead." For a reminder, Oasis had some cracking gigs - check out a review here.

"They’re planning an early-ish night because he can’t afford to get ill or for his voice to be damaged,” a source told The Sun.

However, Liam, 53, eventually joined Noel for the first time in years, breaking his booze ban to toast the band’s success with his brother and their mother, Peggie, after the final gig at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. Noel was reportedly delighted to have him there.

Liam avoided a potentially awkward encounter with Lily after the singer previously revealed that they had a one-night-stand after getting ‘hammered on a plane’. Lily, 40, revealed in her autobiography, My Thoughts Exactly, that they joined the mile-high club together on their way to Japan in 2009.

"We got hammered on the plane,’ she wrote. "At some point, Liam and I found ourselves together in the toilet doing something that he shouldn’t have been doing, and it wasn’t drugs.

"Then we were in a lie-down bed together. When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, “What you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel”… I was like, “Yeah, OK”."

During the Wembley show, Liam hinted at more Oasis dates next year, teasing fans with the possibility of Knebworth shows.

Before closing with Champagne Supernova, he thanked fans for making the reunion tour possible: "I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f**king map. Champagne Supernova. See you next year."

The event also carried a personal touch for Noel, who was “devastated” when Chiltern Firehouse burned down last year. A source said: “He wanted to throw a party as soon as they were back up and running, and this was the perfect opportunity.”

Despite earlier reports of a low-key Liam, the afterparty ultimately reflected a mix of family celebration, celebrity glamour, and Oasis nostalgia, cementing a high note to a triumphant UK tour.
