MTV VMAs 2025 wildest moments - awkward red carpet stunts to emotional tributes
From attention grabbing antics on the red carpet to emotional on stage tributes, there was no shortage of drama at the 2025 MTV VMAs in New York City last night
It was a night for pop divas at the VMAs last night, with Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter taking home the big awards and music legend Mariah Carey unveiled as the 2025 Video Vanguard Award honouree.
But, despite being an awards show, the VMAs is also about providing bombshell moments from the red carpet and performances in addition to handing out Moon Person gongs.
Espresso hitmaker Sabrina, 26, used her time on stage to pay homage to VMAs - and general - legend Britney Spears and show her support for the trans community, while YUNGBLUD popped his top on for a few minutes to team up with Aerosmith to deliver a musical tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.
Lady Gaga was named artist of the year as she collected four awards at the bash, but had to be a multi-tasking queen and pop off early to perform as part of her Mayhem Ball tour at Madison Square Garden.
Here are all the best bits and bombshells from the VMAs that you - and Lady Gaga - might have missed.
