Nicole Kidman's divorce humiliation as pals share fresh details on Keith Urban split

Nicole Kidman is reportedly suffering fresh humiliation amid her divorce as rumours start to swirl of ex Keith Urban already moving on to someone new.
The actress, who was said to be "blindsided" by Keith's desire to split, filed for divorce earlier this week as has been holed up with her teenage daughters at home ever since. Meanwhile, Keith has moved out of their Nashville house and is rumoured to be dating someone new and potentially younger than Nicole, 58.
Friends of Nicole have now revealed the age gap between Keith, 57, and is new love is the source of huge embarrassment for the actress, as the way she looks has been a sore spot for the film star. "If it turns out to be true that Keith is involved with another woman, it will feel like the biggest humiliation for Nic," an insider revealed.
"She does everything she can to keep herself looking young and in shape. Not only for screen roles but also for Keith. She used to ask him if she's still hot and, of course, he'd always tell her she was. But he seemed to be growing tired of her looking for reassurance."
Just before the divorce was revealed, Keith was filmed changing the lyrics to a song he wrote for Nicole to include his 25-year-old guitarist, Maggie Baugh. While performing The Fighter, instead of singing "Baby, I'll be your fighter," he sang "Maggie, I'll be your guitar player". The video was posted by the 25-year-old and some fans jumped into the comments to suggest this is the reason Nicole filed for divorce.
According to the former couple's inner circle, Nicole wanted to fight for the marriage but was rejected by her husband, who was allegedly "done" with the relationship. Friends of Keith said their separation and divorce was down to a "lack of intimacy" between the two.
One friend insisted that Keith is not dating. They also addressed the concerns of fans who worried that the divorce would send the country singer into a spiral. "He isn't talking about whether he's dating anyone else or going to date anyone else, but he's saying that he's going to be fine and not to worry about him getting self-destructive. He's OK."
"Keith's the type who looks to escape his thoughts when things go sideways," said the friend. "I don't want him to look for it in a bottle. But he is saying he's fine, that everything's OK, but he's not going to elaborate any more than that.
"He's not going to boohoo to people about his failed marriage. He's worried about the kids and how they're going to cope being from a broken home, but he promises he's going to stay on the wagon for their sake. I'd like to believe that's the truth."
In 2024, Keith revealed how his addictions affected the start of his marriage to Nicole: "We got married in 2006, and barely four months into our marriage, the addictions that I had done really nothing about blew our marriage to smithereens. Four months into a marriage, and I’m in rehab for three months with no idea what was going to happen to us.
"Nic pushed through every negative voice. I’m sure even some of her own, and she chose love. And here we are tonight 18 years later. Her capacity to love is like no one I’ve ever met."
