Radiohead has announced a brand new album, set to be released digitally this weekend.

The group has been teasing new material all week on social media, sending rumours spilling all over the internet - and finally they've confirmed the news we've all been waiting for.

The new album will be released digitally this Sunday, May 8, on XL Recordings, with physical copies following on June 17.

They also dropped a new video for their new hit Daydreaming, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

It shows frontman Thom Yorke walking through doors and passageways leading to everything from a hotel, to a hospital and a family’s kitchen.

The band tweeted the news, saying: "Radiohead/Paul Thomas Anderson Daydreaming, Our album will be released digitally on May 8th."

It's the second new song and video from Radiohead this week, after they released Burn The Witch.
