Vicky Pattison puts husband on sex ban over Strictly - 'It's so bad'

Vicky Pattison has revealed she's put her husband Ercan Ramadan on a very stern sex ban after she signed up for BBC's Strictly Come Dancing due to her schedule

Vicky Pattison has imposed a sex ban on her husband, Ercan Ramadan. The Geordie Shore star is currently appearing on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing and is often locked in long rehearsals ahead of the live show, which airs every Saturday night.

Due to this, Vicky admits she has no time for any raunchy bedroom antics and is instead going completely celibate, despite previously having little time to get frisky. The couple married one another in August last year at Marylebone Town Hall in London, before going on to have a much grander ceremony in Puglia, Italy, the following month.

But while most newlyweds often find time for one another, this hasn't always been the case for the 37-year-old, who often works away. Now, in a new interview, Vicky has shared intimate details about her sex life.

"This sex ban thing is so bad. I barely sh*g him anyway," she said. She went on to add: "Obviously, I love him, we've been together nearly ten years, and we have a really healthy relationship in every aspect, but it's just so hard."

Speaking to Closer magazine, Vicky continued: "You're so exhausted, you're training for however many hours a day, and I'm still working outside of this. I'm doing podcasting, I'm doing all my social bits, and launching a clothing collection. Things are full on. After a full day in training, you don't fancy going home to do the mattress Mambo!"

She explained that Ercan had been "patient" with her and joked: "He must be hoping I don't make the final!" On Strictly, Vicky is dancing with professional star, Kai Widdrington. However, reports claim that Ercan has been worried about Vicky's tight schedule, as she's known for working extremely hard.

A source told The Sun: "When she's leading a healthy lifestyle, exercising, eating well and taking care of herself, Vicky feels good – she's confident and happy. But it’s definitely a concern if she becomes overworked, too stressed and too tired. Who knows what it could trigger?

"Ercan is of course very worried that the gruelling Strictly 'regime' could tip her over the edge so he's having to make sure she's slowing down, she's eating enough, she's eating healthy food and she's getting time to rest and also do what fills her cup – quiet time with him where they can just be together and the dogs."

Earlier this month, Vicky herself opened up about her time on the show, explaining she was "overwhelmed and intimidated" about rehearsals. "All the pros are carved like angels, and I’m there sweating away in my gym gear. It's both intimidating and overwhelming. But as you get older, you don't often get the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone. I like to prove I’m capable," she explained to Women's Health.

Having found fame due to her love of partying, life is extremely different for her now and she's been keen to show people a completely different side to her.

She said: "I was young, making mistakes, and I wasn’t the best version of myself… I'm scared that under this spotlight, I'll mess up."
