Venezuela Fury, 16, reveals she's still not met her in-laws – despite engagement

Venezuela Fury got engaged at her sweet 16th birthday party as boyfriend Noah popped the question on the dancefloor – but she's yet to meet her future in-laws

Venezuela Fury has revealed she's not yet met her fiancé's parents despite getting engaged recently. The 16-year-old was asked by her boyfriend, Noah, to marry him at her sweet 16th birthday party after asking for her dad, Tyson Fury's, blessing.

Noah was seen getting down on one knee in the special moment as mum Paris told fans they were "shocked but very happy" for the young couple.

The bride-to-be has since said that she doesn't plan on getting married before getting the chance to meet her in-laws. She said that her partner lives "a few hours" away from her, so that's why she hasn't met his family yet.

Venezuela told The Sun: "I haven't met his family yet. So I'm looking forward to seeing them. He lives a few hours' away from me and works during the week, so we only see each other at weekends.

"We haven't discussed where we are going to live after we are married yet." Last month, fans were shocked to see that Venezuela has got engaged as a teen.

She added: "It all came as a huge surprise. I wasn't overly emotional because I was so surprised and I was very nervous, as I realised a lot of people were watching me.

"It was a very exciting moment, though, probably one of the best of my life. But I would have been content if he had asked me to marry him anywhere. I didn't care about the 'big proposal', but I am very happy."

Mum Paris has stood by her daughter's choice to get engaged young after doing the same herself when she was 17. Paris has since opened up about her daughter's decision, saying: "She’s only 16 and she is engaged, but we are really happy for her and it’s her choice in life. Him and her are really happy together and all I can say is I thoroughly support them."

Despite this, Paris is hoping that her eldest daughter waits a while longer to start having a family of her own. Paris, who is 35, had her first baby when she was 19.

But, she isn't keen on becoming a grandmother in her thirties. She said she "wouldn't be comfortable" with becoming a grandmother so young but she would still "smile" if it were to happen.

The mum-of-seven said her daughter is in an engagement bubble at the moment, but wedding planning won't begin until next year at the earliest.

The Fury's have been transparent about their traditional Traveller heritage and customs and early engagements are commonplace. Paris, 35, has previously discussed leaving education at 11 herself.

Venezuela also appears to be emulating her mother's path, as Paris disclosed her daughter didn't wish to pursue further education, instead opting to remain home and assist with family matters.

The couple’s family life was showcased in their hit Netflix show At Home With The Furys, with Paris stepping further into the spotlight. Viewers praised her for how she juggles raising seven children and supporting Tyson through his mental health battles.
