Tyson Fury's life and career have had more twists and turns than a crime bestseller but the heavyweight has established himself as one of the best fighters in the world.

He became world champion in 2015 when he outpointed Wladimir Klitschko, but then spiralled into a near three-year drink and drug-fuelled depression. His return in 2018 against champion Deontay Wilder ended in a controversial draw. The Gypsy King, who stands at a height of 6' 9", won the re-match in a seventh-round technical knockout in February 2020 in what's regarded as one of boxing's greatest comebacks.

Fury, whose half-brother Tommy has now also stepped into the ring, met his wife Paris when they were teenagers and married in 2008. The pair have seven children together, four sons and three daughters.
