Some choose not to continue if they struggle - or if they simply prefer to bottlefeed. Breastfeeding is rarely out of the news due to controversial tales of mums being told to cover up or even banned from public places. Women have also made headlines for breastfeeding children past an age which is generally considered 'the norm'.
