As the oldest and most successful team in Formula 1 history, Ferrari's red cars have become as synonymous with motor racing as chequered flags.

Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, Scuderia Ferrari joined the F1 in its inaugural 1950 season and has been a permanent fixture in the world championship ever since. The likes of Juan Manuel Fangio, Niki Lauda, and seven-time champion Michael Schumacher have all won titles with the team.

While its history is golden, the modern-day Ferrari outfit is in the midst of a lengthy title drought. They last won the constructors' title in 2008 and Kimi Raikkonen's 2007 drivers' championship victory remains their most recent success on that front, though they have come close with the likes of Felipe Massa, Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso.

In 2025, and now led by team principal Frederic Vasseur, Ferrari look revitalised after their strong teams' title challenge last year and hope their new all-star driver line-up can help end the long wait for glory. In one of the biggest signings in F1 history, Lewis Hamilton has been poached from rivals Mercedes to partner Charles Leclerc and both will expect to be in the mix for race wins and a run at the drivers' championship.
