The plot follows his rise to power and subsequent fall, which Belfort detailed in his memoirs The Wolf of Wall Street and Catching the Wolf of Wall Street. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill, the film has also won critical acclaim, earned five Oscar nominations and taken home two Golden Globes.
