Melania Trump issues stern order to Donald during tense exchange

Donald and Melania Trump were caught in a heated exchange on board Marine One on Wednesday night following the president's appearance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York

Donald and Melania Trump were spotted in a heated exchange on board Marine One, with a lip reader now revealing the exact words exchanged. The tense footage was captured on Wednesday night (24 September) after Trump's appearance at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

In one particularly fiery moment, 79-year-old Trump pointed his finger at Melania, 55, as they sat opposite each other. We recently disclosed the exact words spoken during the conversation, with Trump exclaiming "it was unbelievable" and "how can you do that?"

However, before the couple exited the presidential helicopter, it seemed Melania had one final stern command for her husband. According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, she said: "Donald, look at me."

Melania was seen shaking her head vigorously before both disembarked from the helicopter and strolled across the White House's South Lawn hand in hand.

This scene followed an astonishing appearance at the United Nations. The trip began disastrously when an escalator malfunctioned just as the world's most powerful couple stepped onto it.

Then, during the president's nearly hour-long speech, the teleprompter broke down and there were also audio issues.

Such was Trump's fury over these incidents, he demanded an investigation into what he called the "triple sabotage". White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed on Tuesday night that an investigation was underway.

Speaking to Fox News, she warned: "If we find that these were UN and staffers who were purposefully trying to trip up, literally trip up the president and the first lady of the United States, well, there better be accountability for those people. And I will personally see to it."

Following the incident, Leavitt took to social media, stating: "If someone at the U.N. intentionally stopped the escalator ... they need to be fired and investigated immediately."

Despite the mishaps, Trump didn't hold back in his speech, launching a scathing attack on the UN and world leaders, which lasted nearly four times longer than the usual speeches given by leaders.

In addition to criticising his opponents and their ideas, he lambasted: "The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them and not finance them."

This visit occurred less than a week after his historic second state visit to the UK, where Trump and Melania were guests of King Charles at Windsor Castle.

At the time, Jeremy revealed Trump's initial reaction upon meeting Kate Middleton, moments after his arrival.
