Tyson Fury shares emotional Ricky Hatton tribute after boxing legend's sad death
Ricky Hatton's sad death at the age of 46 has sent the entire boxing community into mourning with Tyson Fury the latest name to pay tribute to the legendary 'Hitman'
Tyson Fury has become the latest figure from the world of boxing to pay tribute to the legendary Ricky Hatton following the news of his death at the age of 46.
It emerged on Sunday that Hatton had tragically passed away with a statement from Greater Manchester Police confirming that a body had been found at the former world champion's home. A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we have found a body at an address on Bowlacre Road in Gee Cross at 6.45am today, Sunday, September 14. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
Tributes have since flooded in for 'The Hitman', who was one of Britain's most popular and accomplished boxers during his prime. Fury was among those to pay homage, sharing two throwback snaps of himself alongside Hatton on his Instagram account.
Fury, 37, wrote: "RIP to the legend @rickyhatton. May he rest in peace. There will only ever be one Ricky hatton. I can't believe this, he was so young."

Hatton was a huge Manchester City fan and was expected to attend Sunday's Manchester derby. They penned a touching tribute of their own and confirmed that a minute's applause would take place prior to the game to honour Hatton.
"Manchester City are devastated to learn Ricky Hatton has passed away, aged 46," the club wrote in a statement.
"Ricky was one of City’s most loved and revered supporters, who will always be remembered for a glittering boxing career that saw him win world titles at welterweight and light-welterweight.
"Everyone at the Club would like to send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time. We can confirm there will be a minute’s appreciation ahead of today’s game against Manchester United."
