Kimberly Hébert Gregory's hidden role in The Big Bang Theory after tragic death

Kimberly Hébert Gregory, who starred in Two and a Half Men and the Big Bang Theory, has died aged 52, her ex-husband confirmed

Kimberly Hébert Gregory, who featured in popular programmes including Two and a Half Men and the Big Bang Theory, has died, with her former husband Chester Gregory announcing the heartbreaking news on Sunday, October 5.

In a heartfelt social media tribute, Chester, who shares a son with Kimberly, wrote: "Kimberly Hébert Gregory, You Were Brilliance Embodied. A Black Woman Whose Mind Lit Every Room, Whose Presence Carried Both Fire And Grace.

"You Taught Us Lessons In Courage, In Artistry, In Resilience, And In How To Keep Showing Up, Even When Life Demanded More Than Its Share.

"So Much More Than Ex-Wife, You Were My Friend. Our Son, The Song We Wrote Together, Is The Living Echo Of Your Light. Through Him, Your Brilliance Will Never Fade. Through Him, Your Laughter Will Always Resound."

Numerous Hollywood colleagues paid tribute online, including The White Lotus actor Walton Goggins.

The performer launched her career on stage before landing her breakout part as Dr Belinda Brown in Vice Principals.

She subsequently appeared in major series including Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Two and a Half Men and Devious Maids.

Viewers might also recall her portrayal of Ms. Davora in the Big Bang Theory episode The Anything Can Happen Recurrence.

The episode marked the twenty-first chapter of season seven, with Kimberly's character serving as a psychic medium consulted by Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

Sheldon didn't hold back when he told the psychic: "No insult intended, but you're a fraud, your profession is a swindle and your livelihood is dependent on the gullibility of stupid people. Again. No offence."

The clairvoyant then accurately predicted his future, advising him to commit to Amy Farrah-Fowler (Mayim Bialik), his then-girlfriend with whom he was having issues.

She assured him that everything would fall into place, both personally and professionally, once he committed to her.

Before her untimely death, Kimberly's most recent roles were in Craig Before the Creek and Carol & the End of the World.
