DLR Technician provides the Expertise to Carry Out the Recommendations report back results to Service Manager.

Repair made at the pre-determined time.

HIM Module/ Communicator

VIMS Underscore files

Minestar FC, events, payload, channel polling, location for Rosemont take action on application or operational issues.
Work Order Generated and Assigned
VIMS underscore files sent by the HIM box are placed into a unprocessed folder on the Minestar Server. MQ file transfer program is installed to send copies of the files to the Dealer/Caterpillar? This has to be decided? All Downloads will also be saved on a back up file at the mines server.

HIM is part of the hardware sold with Minestar FC that are added to the truck. HIM is programmed to download and transmit VIMS underscore files to the Minestar Server. The frequency of downloads needs to be determined?

CMS merges new files received every hour

Caterpillar CMS Server

CMS allows multiple dealer users to see the same dataset for validation of recommendation

Service Mgmt meet daily on planning and prioritization of recommendations.

Service Manager communicates technician findings to CM that validates repair process.

Dealer Condition Monitoring Analysis of multiple elements of CM are turned into recommendations. Learning from failures will be logged for Continuous Improvement.
DEALER Condition Monitoring also tracks completed jobs and identifies Best Practices

Upon release of New VIMS3G Est Oct 2010 with imbedded Communicator/HIM functionality will allow push or pull to any server internal or external. Just like the previous VIMS versions with Communicator/ XIM does today.
