SARPLUSCOM KIT
1. The SARPLUSCOM auto dialler is supplied
in a high impact polycarbonate box and can
be mounted within the car top area. Its com-
pact size makes it ideal for new or existing
installations.

The unit has a push button fitted for the
engineers use should they become trapped
in the car top area.

A loom is supplied to connect the Autodialler to
the COP. This carries with it 12vdc signalling
for your Alarm Activated & Alarm Received
indicators and the speaker & microphone




2. A speaker and microphone is supplied for
mounting behind a grill in the COP. The
microphone is sensitive enough to pickup from
inside, below and above the lift car so when
coupled with the high quality loud speaker the
auto dialler does not require any extra units
outside of the lift car to comply with EN81.

3. A further engineers activation button is
supplied on a 5m cable and this is mounted
beneath the lift car.

The SARPLUSCOM can be programmed
remotely by a standard phone or mobile using
DTMF signalling or on site with a handset


The SARPLUSCOM requires a battery backed 12vdc supply (extra cost).

The machine room intercom is provided by means of a handset and connection card. This card allows easy
connection from the telephone jack plug to your trailing flexes (extra cost).

The SARPLUSCOM requires 2 flexes for the telephone line and a further 2 if you require the machine room
intercom handset. It is not always necessary to use twisted paired cables but is advisable to use this type.

To comply with EN81-28 with regards to the alarm filtering, you are required to provide a volt free contact from
the controller which closes when the lift is out of service. This contact is put in series with the autodialler alarm
button contact.

The Hidra system uses a common processor with interface configuration to suit Hydraulic & Traction lifts
(2 Speed & VVVF). On board diagnostics are standard. The system operates with only 9 wires in the shaft
(5 serial communication for signalling, 2 lock circuit & 2 safety circuit). All slowing and stopping equipment
mounted on the car. This makes for rapid and economic installation.

The Hidra is supplied with its own associated car top control, shaft proximity switches, wiring/flexes and slowing

The IMS100 Door Sensor utilises the latest Time Of Flight camera technology to monitor the
entrance area of a lift.

Easily fitted within the lift car entrance and used with the Cedes Max74 range or other existing 2D
door detectors or single beam sensors that utilise standard contact basic signalling.

The IMS100 has proven by maintenance companies to im-

KITVF-XT - A belt drive with simple universal door
to belt attachment with a spring loaded trigger
mechanism to lock the door holding the door shut
in the closed position

These operators are suitable for almost any applica-
tion where the existing skate between car and land-
ing doors is fixed, i.e. flat blade or channel type and
existing doors are separately coupled by existing
lanyards/aircords. None aircorded doors between

European Directive 95/16/CE requires that lift car movement be controlled in ascent. EN81
covers this requirement under Clause 9.10 and Montanari offer a range of machines which
control ascent with a brake on the traction sheave shaft as part (D) in clause 9.10.4.

Requirements
The brakes are of a passive type and are applied when the voltage is cut. The lift must be
fitted with an electrical security device which cuts the voltage in the event of excessive
speed in ascent. Normally this device is the speed governor which activates the safety
gear on the lift car.

Signal required from control system to apply sheave brake when lift stopped and fused
power supply and signals required for PWM Module.

Sheave Brake is supplied with a PWM Brake Signal Booster Module

Sheave Brake is TUV Certified

Prop base slides securely into the mounting boot which is permanently fixed to the pit floor.
The boot has two 6mm steel strips attached to its underside enabling level fixing if the pit floor
is uneven. When not in use the prop is secured in an upright position by the wall mounted
bracket.

The electrical interlocking facility consists of a pre-fixed limit switch mounted to the rear of
the wall mounted bracket. When the prop is removed from the bracket, the lift is rendered
electrically inoperative until the prop is replaced to its original position.
