The learning resource centre of Chandigarh University consists of central library and
eight libraries situated in different academics blocks. These libraries have contributed
significantly in supplementing the class room teaching and the learning through further
reading. The university library has a very rich collection of books; periodicals back
volumes of journals E-resources and CDs/DVDs. The students and teachers have been
given electronics access to 80,000+ E-books and E-journals. All the librarians have a
digital library unit to provide access to the digital resources. The library has maintained
12 electronics data bases and has acquired the institutional membership of the DELNET
and British Council Library from where the books pertaining to various disciplines of
Engineering, applied sciences, Social Sciences, management, computer applications,
Pharmacy and Laws etc.
The library Collection also includes a large section of expensive encyclopedias, reference
books and a large number of text books related to the course being run in the university.
The library subscribes to a large number of print journals, magazines and newspaper.
The whole collection of the library has been bar-coded and the OPAC can be accessed on
