MOTION TO REDUCE BAIL


COMES NOW, the accused, JESTER VARGAS y EVANGELISTA, assisted by the PUBLIC
ATTORNEY’S OFFICE, unto this Honorable court, manifests:
1. That the bail in this case is fixed at P200,000.00;
2. That the accused moves for the reduction of bail from two hundred thousand pesos
(P200,000.00) to one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) for the accused is presently
unemployed and will just ask for financial assistance from his relatives to raise the reduced
bail;
3. That if the motion will be granted, the accused will apply for surety bond in order to post bail
and enjoy provisional liberty;
4. That the accused can effectively defend himself if allowed provisional liberty under the reduced
bail;
5. That the accused undertakes to appear for trial whenever required by the Court.
PRAYER
WHEREFORE, it is prayed that the motion be granted. Other reliefs are likewise prayed for.
