WORST BLOW OUT?

THIS WEEK YOU GET A 2 FOR 1 DEAL ON BLOWOUTS. GREEN BAY CRUSHED THE FLAILING COW-
BOYS 45-7, AND THE NEW YORK GIANTS WERE RELENTLESS IN THEIR 41-7 VICTORY OVER THE SEAT-
TLE SEAHAWKS.

GOTTA GIVE IT TO PHILLIP RIVERS. HE IS A QUIET DISPLAY OF CONSISTENCY, AND ITS NO SMALL
WONDER HIS AVERAGE PASSER RATING LOOKS LIKE THE TEMPERATURE IN THE MOJAVE DESERT IN
AUGUST. PROPS TO MIKE VICK. COMING BACK FROM A PRETTY BAD INJURY AND NOT BEING

This week was one of the weeks that always makes me glad that I
watch as many games as possible as listen to the rest on the radio. It
was nice to witness the Raiders win, and great to see the Giants win,
and AWESOME to see the Browns win, but my favorite part was that
the Giants kept those noisy Seahawk fans quiet. For the first time
ever I could really hear that broadcast.

With every great week there comes speculation about next week.
Jim Jones is always talkative after a game. You can count on the
Texan with the shiny new stadium to utter a quotable or two. But
this week, if I was Wade Phillips, or actually the whole entire staff of
the Dallas Cowboys I would be nervous. Apparently, “people will
suffer”.

The Raiders and the Bucs are in second place in their divisions. The
Cowboys and the Broncos are in last place in their division. I don’t
know about you guys, but there are a while bunch of highly paid
analysts kicking themselves this year, and I think there are still lots
more surprises to come.
