What?

• A startup studio, also known as a startup factory or a venture builder, is


studio-like company that aims at building several companies in succession.
Just like a movie studio that creates multiple movies in succession, using
shared resources.

• So Venture builder is essentially a startup that builds startups.


When (History)?

• It all started from Bill gross.

• He founded Idealab back in


1996, he was one of the first to
introduce the incubator
industry.

• Till now Idealab have created


over 150 companies with more
than 45 IPOs and acquisitions.
