1. What are the main parts of a computer?
Ans : System Unit, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse etc are the main parts of a
computer.
2. What are called Hardware?
Ans : The physical parts of computer that can be touched are called
Hardware. Examples – Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor etc.
3. What are external devices?
Ans : Hardware parts outside the computer are external devices. Examples –
Mouse, Keyboard, monitor etc.
4. What are internal devices?
Ans : Hardware parts inside the computer are internal devices. Examples –
RAM, ROM, CPU etc.
5. Write three name of Input devices.
Ans : Mouse, Keyboard, Microphone etc.
6. Write three name of Output devices.
Ans : Printer, Speaker, Monitor etc.
7. Name some memory devices.
Ans : RAM, ROM, CD, Hard Disk etc.

Chapter – Four, The CPU
1. What is called CPU/Central Processing Unit?
Ans : The part inside the System Unit control all the parts of a computer is
called CPU.
2. What is called Microprocessor?
Ans : The CPU is also called the microprocessor because it is small.
3. What is input?
Ans : The information entered into the computer system are called input.
4. What is Processing?
Ans : When computer works with data it is called processing.
5. What is output?
Ans : After processing the input what we see on the screen is the output.
