Assignment #1: Questions for Reflection
Prompt #1: Now that you have completed Assignment #1, what were the most important aspects of this assignment? What moved you the
most? Any surprises?
I was a few months into my leadership journey at Starbucks when I started taking Organizational Leadership courses. The thing that moved me
the most about this project was reading old reflections of leadership experiences. Reading my old assignments made me feel like I was stepping
into a time machine and it made me realize I have grown so much more than I ever realized as a leader. I was most surprised by the fact that I
took something from each course and implement it into my leadership style. I made sure that I was truly gaining something from each of these
courses, and not just robotically doing the assignments to get a degree. There were so many concepts I learned and skills I gained that have
helped me grow into the leader I am today.
Prompt #2: What are your ideas in terms of how to best illustrate your growth and development over the course of your education and
experiences with the Organizational Leadership program? What are your best ideas with respect to specific artifacts / evidence that you
might present (within the context of an e-portfolio) as you consider your growth and development in the Organizational Leadership
Program?
There are so many artifacts that I have gathered throughout the course of my education. I feel that in my e-portfolio I should present my
artifacts in chronological order to show my growth as a leader. I also believe that including a reflection of how the artifacts impacted me at the
time and how they impact me now will help to illustrate the growth and development that I have experience throughout my time in the
Organizational Leadership Program.
